Making a name for themselves again. Absolutely vile. There are about 10 that should be banned for life. Everyone knows who they are, think they're Green Street hooligans but all weigh about 7st soaking wet through. Totally embarrassing.

I`m no angel but how can I defend what I saw today. 15 year old chavs giving the big I am. But it was the usual few that caused the problems and most were trying to calm the situation. Did not hear what was said to keeper but we no who you are and you are not welcome at this club. If the club don`t exterminate you. We will. Absolutely agree. As you say, the vast majority of our support are good people. There is a new element of skinny children who drink too much and suddenly think they're Mike Tyson. They're going to get a good hiding one of these days, when they're not standing behind the police for protection. Funny how they were nowhere to be seen against Y***** or bigger clubs when we were in the National League, like to pipe up against 'smaller clubs' though. Ban them. It's embarrassing.

I am all for holding people to account but what we are seeing is a trial by social media. People need to be very careful of what they are saying before a shred of evidence is put forward. This whole thread is potentially libelous. Let the club investigate before piling on top of rumours.

No names have been mentioned other than the tweet, although I have deleted that now as the wording is very graphic

“Potentially libellous” .
No I really don’t think so. There is plenty of evidence and if the “people” concerned chose to sue they would get a good legal hiding
I’m one of those unlucky enough to follow social media and well aware of the identities of these individuals, who regularly post the most disgusting bile online aimed at people within the club. The club can’t do much about what happens online, but when it spills over in to the stadium then the club needs to take action. Bans should be considered. If that means there is a little less atmosphere, so be it. This behaviour is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of the club.
Before I saw this thread I was alarmed at the amount of Farnborough fans on Twitter attacking our youngsters for their behaviour yesterday , there’s no smoke without fire.

I don't agree with one point you've made, but it's a club thing and not a you thing. It's the part saying the club can't do anything about what happens online. That is a load of crap. It is seen a lot of times at other clubs (okay not necessarily for the right reason but some are), so why can't we as a club, say to these individuals, here's your banning order from our stadium, due to your behaviour online which does not align with the club values?

I would be delighted to see that Abby.
I see Y***** banned one of their characters for three years for social media activity

I didn't understand what had happened at the point of reading your first post and wasn't at the game. I hope the club can keep these twats and their poison away from games if I am getting the right impression of what happened

It’s laying out people’s eye witness accounts of what appears to be some very poor behaviour by some so called fans. If you thinks that’s libellous then you need to get out a bit more.

If you attend the Bobby Lucas stadium it is full of stewards as per “National League” rules, I wasn’t there yesterday but if all the reports are true did the stewards ignore it, didn’t see it or were there none on duty?

I think historically there’s always been an element of this sort of behaviour in the fan base. Not too brave either when they’re challenged. I guess some things never change.

I see the main culprit has now hidden his Twitter profile .
Having read a bit more about what was said by whom to which opposing player , I don’t think this is something the club can ignore, and I’m pleased to see a statement has been made that the club is looking In to it . This stuff is despicable . It’s also good to see the police have been brought in to it
I’m pretty sure there was a similar episode last season involving one of our ( now departed) players receiving very similar online abuse

This account on twitter is one of them. Threatening to "turn people over" online but when you look at the photos of them, they look like they'd struggle to turn over a page in their school books. This toxicity online is just going to make all Weymouth fans a target for over teams.

Their Mums are going to be really pissed off. Early to bed the lot of you.
I am assuming the wriggly one that got handcuffed at the BLS is associated with this lot.
Scrolling down his account it is truly worrying to see the affiliation with the far right / Laxley- Lennon/ football lad nob head culture he engages with

I have looked at a few of the Twitter accounts for those younger fans. Many , not all, clearly show affiliation with the far right. One was talking about going to the Cenotaph yesterday to meet up with EDL types. Worrying for lots of reasons.
