I know Football Manager has been out since November, but I thought that now the season is over, I'm intrigued if anyone on here plays it and how they've done with Weymouth.
I haven't played much this year and actually started my Weymouth save on the last day of our season, whilst listening to the commentary. Took me two seasons to get out of the National South, and that was through the playoffs after dominating and the 'xG' table saying I should of finished top.
Now half-way through the 3rd season (1st in the national), I'm sat in 3rd, looking at the playoffs into League Two, with a tasty tie in the FA Cup 3rd round away to Arsenal!

To be honest, it's an odd one with Weymouth on FM. I haven't played the mighty muff as, 2020 they were ridiculously over powered and, in the case of 2022, I always start from the bottom and that one we were in the big league. Sure enough, every save that I've witnessed, involves Weymouth being relegate twice out of existence, so nearly realistic. I don't buy FM every year as it's, basically, the same game with updated database. Infact, it's more or less the same game since 2016 or so. However, I'll probably buy this years one and turn the Bob Lucas into a 15,000 seater stadium named after some wonderkid from Ecuador.

It's due a big overhaul, also whoever gives FM the data for us, obviously doesn't count our hall of fame people as 'Legends, Icons, or Favourite People'. It is weird to see our rep sometimes and how OP we are, and sometimes the complete utter opposite.

That considering all it would take would be a quick message to ask fans, on let's say a fans forum, to say what their favorites are and the duly type them in. Such is life... Taking into account what Zealand has given to Taunton Town's voice on the youtube stage. The gaming/twitch area is becoming a new media platform in which can enhance a club's supporting base.

Something I mentioned whilst on the media team, especially back during lockdowns. His newest YouTube video actually shows how much analysis is done by teams, even at our level, about opponents. Our tactics were basically plastered online...

Brilliant documentary of you haven't already seen (think they bundled it in with FM 19) The story of Alex Mcleish attempting to bring in a then unknown 15 year old Lionel Messi to Glasgow Rangers following a reccomendation by his son who was playing the game at the time is fascinating. youtu.be/g8E0s6hnAvk

Won NLS first season. Struggled in NL, 2nd season mid table, 3rd season won it at a canter. Funnily enough Y***** got relegated to Southern Prem in my save. Currently in League 1, mid table halfway through the season. Andrew Dallas up top with Alex Fletcher. Bearwish is still with the team. Operation get to the prem in 10 years is well on track 💪👌🤣

Now currently sat 7th in League Two after 26 games played. Oh and slime is sitting bottom half of national league consistently The only I have that was with weymouth before is, Charlie Seaman (4 apps in 2017/18)
