I know that games are running out but that softens the blow.
Crap tonight.
Beat second recently
Good draw at Braintree
Great win at Concord.
we need defensive stability ( a challenge again )and confidence.
And perhaps more time than what is available to us.
Theres still a glimmer of hope

I genuinely do have respect for a fan like you Paul cocks. Trying to be positive etc throughout and support the manager. But I now see you’ve come to your senses (non disrespectful) . But I cannot just pay good money to watch that inept hoofball. The year is 2023 and non league is not what it was. I do not see young players been inspired by pub tactics. Despite a few wins I was and still won’t be excited to watch us under BW. we have won a few games which we SHOULD it’s the NLS it’s not even remotely close to the standard of the NL. It does not take high footballing IQ to work out BW is inept tactically. We don’t defend set pieces of score them rarely. We do not control games and I’ve never watched football where your fullbacks barely cross the half way line. As fans we all worked so hard and paid good money to help us get promoted to the NL. To now be squandered. Post match interview is embarrassing also. “we were dead and buried before I came” shows the real side amongst the rest of the uninspiring cliches… no we were not BW was appointed after 8 games not 25.

Now without willson for some games...can we end this bloody season now please. Players owe the fans a massive apology as this is unacceptable Wilson was aweful tonight so was the loaner from Dorking. Throw in a poor performance from the keeper who just seems to have far too slow reactions for a keeper and we gave ourselves a mountain to climb. When we equalised we should have pushed on and won the match. The performance for that last 20 mins was the worst this season. Everything from the manager down was rubbish tonight. |

Like I said months ago, I can’t identify with this squad. The ridiculous amount of random loan players coming and going throughout the season has meant that on my now rare forays down the the BLS, I am lucky to recognise half of the players starting. This approach was and is utterly flawed and has led to apathy.
I’ll come back when all that nonsense changes, hopefully next season but I won’t be holding my breath. I’m not sure however that I’ll ever sponsor this basket case of a club again.

Can someone please explain to Me how we are more than competitive against teams in the top 5 , home or away , and yet we lose at home against the likes of Concord , Chippenham and now of all people Hungerford  We’ve always been a team who wins as underdogs but lose otherwise 🤷♀️ (taking the southern league to the last day after 97 points the season before says the exact same). It’s fine, we’ll do as we always do, take it until the last minute, and hopefully stay up |

Carlyle is carrying a knock and was rested presumably for what was thought would be harder games ahead. |

I thought our biggest problem was how poorly Blair and Kyprianou defended down the left.I know Blair is a forward but he is slow to help his fullback out sometimes. I thought Proctor, perhaps understandably, was lost. and Wilson was o.k. Sesay was not himself but maybe he started with an injury that got worse On a separate note did you notice that when Thommo came on he didn't seem to have any clear instruction on how that would affect our shape. Akheem ran all the way back to the dugout to ask the bench where he should be playing. |

No I didn't notice that but what I did notice was that after the substitution we lined up in what looked like 2-3-5 formation. Hungerford after being under the cosh pretty much all the second half must have thought all their Christmases had come at once. |
