Didn't we have segregation from the half way line a couple of years ago. Can't remember who we were playing, although the home faithful who stand at the section cordoned off were not happy campers. You are right, it was so that the "away end" could use the toilets in the Babs stand.

We can talk as much as we like about ticket allocation, but I’m pretty sure that the police will have the final say on how many away fans they want to deal with. If only there were an occasional "fan" with in-depth knowledge of football security issues to contribute... He's promised he'll be there

Just hope it’s better organised than last time. Let the home fans out of the ground first and give them 10mins or so to get away. Last time they let everyone out at the same time resulting in the Y***** mob, yes they have a few, standing on the away end grass bank threatening the Weymouth fans. We then had to stand and wait until the Police had dispersed them.

I will be seriously disappointed in the club if we allow them to have a huge allocation. Couldn’t give a toss if they are winning the league or sell their end out. It’s the rival, fuck the money and their fans. Don’t bend over backward for that cattle of shit. Straight away put ourselves at a disadvantage at our home ground as we all know they bring more especially with the fans we have band.
Allow them only the end segregation and sell home tickets for cheaper pack the place out with Weymouth fans.
Genuinely cannot belive what I’ve read on here that people would rather pack the place out with Y***** fans then our own. Pathetic

We could have squeezed a few more in. I like your passion. Personally I like the idea of £'s for the club even more At the end of the day it's the police and safety group who will rule on this. We will have some day trippers and infrequent attendees there and still have room to spare for more I suspect what is a cattle of shit ? nice to know we have a band now

Yes I suppose we all admire their passion, but this is the only opportunity we might have of filling the stadium up this season. Any thoughts of reaching the play offs are no longer realistic this season, and we should be content, hopefully, with enough points to avoid another relegation scrap. This is too good an opportunity to get much needed funds to go forward and be able to sign quality players for next season, get higher up the league and attract more through the gate. It's a slow process, not instant gratification that will slowly get us back up where we want to be. It's time to accept the reality of our predicament and humbly turn the other cheek for this one game, turn it into a positive, and slowly build ourselves up for better times. Revenge is best eaten cold.

With rallying cries at Torquay for fans to get behind the team yesterday saw them getting the biggest gate in the league 3,642, is it now going to mean they will bring a massive following when they play us next Saturday?

In the light of the incredibly generous offer posted by the club just now on Facebook, I think we can expect a very big visiting attendance . Great gesture by the club . Sorry I can’t post the whole link no doubt someone else can CLUB STATEMENT: A letter from our Chairman. We stand with you @tufc1899 🤝

What's the record number of pages for a match thread? we are on page six and the game is still over a month away. ps I would have gone for an 11am kick off.

I think the Oxford Junior thread was about 38 pages.
Although more factually this is an Easter thread about a resurrection, it has nowt to do with football.
